I am convinced that nothing in the world has the same power as David Attenborough’s voice. Almost two years later, I still remember watching Planet Earth II’s last episode, “Cities,” and hearing Attenborough say, “We are the designers of this environment. How and whether we decide to invite wildlife back is up to us”. Maybe it was his voice, or the swell of the music, or the six hours of breathtaking footage of our planet that I had watched with shining eyes over the course of two months – the show validated my desire to dedicate my life to connecting society and the environment, to be the designer he spoke of.
